Neuschwanstein Castle was built for former Bavarian King Ludwig II between 1868 and 1892 years. Now it is one of the most well-restored castles in the region. It was this castle, overlooking the woods and majestic mountain scenery of the Alps, which became the prototype for Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Linderhof Castle

, also built by Ludwig II for his residence, is situated among the hills, containing extravagant furnishings and a carefully thought-out interior traced luxury French baroque style.

Lake Chiemsee
- the largest freshwater lake in Bavaria, extending to 80 square kilometers, is often called the Bavarian Sea. On the lake there are two famous islands Frauenchiemsee and Herrenchiemsee. On the second is an incomplete castle, built in the likeness of the Palace of Versailles.

The BMW Welt in Munich opened its doors to the public in 2007. In close proximity, the BMW headquarters and the BMW Museum was founded early last century and the two aviation companies that pioneer them are: Gustav Otto, the “flying machines Factory” and Karl Rapp, the “Motor Works”.


The famous Christmas markets in Munich are open from November 25th to December 24th. The most famous of them - fair to the Marienplatz, the Chinese Tower in the English Garden and the Festival Tollwood.
